YELLOW WARBLER
The Yellow Warbler,
dendroica petechia, is a small, active,
insect-eating bird about 4 inches in length, with a thin
pointed bill and mainly yellow plumage. Yellow Warblers
breed in most of North America, including New England,
and migrate annually to Central and South America. To
the human ear, their musical song sounds like "sweet,
sweet, I'm so sweet."
